Our roots trace back to the 60s and a small Kingsbridge firm, but as Sabre Insurance Services, we’ve been supporting our clients across the UK since 2003. We pride ourselves on being one of the only local, independent insurance brokers remaining in the South Hams and are committed to protecting you, your business, and your future.

Practice Manager
Jeanette is a seasoned Practice Manager at Sabre, with over 25 years of experience in the insurance industry. In her role, she oversees the daily operations of the office, ensuring efficiency and the delivery of top-tier service. Outside of her professional life, Jeanette is passionate about giving back, having completed two skydives for charity. She enjoys socializing with friends and family and is supported by her husband and children.
Dale Came
Director
With over 40 years of experience in the financial services industry, Dale has developed a deep and comprehensive understanding of the financial landscape. His career has been defined by a commitment to integrity, professionalism, and delivering consistently high standards of service to clients and colleagues alike.
In recent years, Dale’s role has evolved from direct client advisory work to a leadership position within the firm, where he now holds primary responsibility for management and compliance. In this capacity, he oversees the company’s adherence to ever-changing regulatory frameworks, ensuring that governance, ethical standards, and internal procedures are not only met but consistently exceeded. His leadership plays a key role in maintaining the firm’s reputation for trust and transparency within the financial services sector.
Rob Came DIP CII
Director
Rob is a dedicated member of the commercial team at Sabre, where he has been supporting Small to Medium Enterprises (SMEs) with their insurance needs since joining in 2016. With a keen eye for business solutions, Rob works closely with colleagues Daniel and Andrew to deliver tailored insurance strategies for their clients.
Outside of his professional life, Rob is passionate about sports. He enjoys playing golf and is an active member of a local football team, where he channels his competitive spirit and teamwork skills.
Daniel Barge DIP CII
Commercial Account Executive
Daniel joined Sabre in 2012, bringing with him extensive experience from the commercial insurance industry, where he has worked since 1997. He holds the CII Diploma in Insurance and is primarily responsible for managing client relationships with Sabre's corporate clients. Specializing in all types of commercial and business insurance, Daniel is well-equipped to meet the diverse needs of his clients.
Outside of work, he is a dedicated supporter of Plymouth Argyle football team and has a strong passion for antiques.
Andrew King DIP CII
Broker Manager
Andrew joined Sabre in 2018, he oversees the daily operations of both the commercial and personal lines departments, ensuring smooth workflows and exceptional service for Sabre's clients. Alongside his managerial duties, Andrew, who holds a Diploma in Insurance, actively manages and supports his own book of clients to meet their requirements.
Outside of work, Andrew enjoys spending weekends with his wife and children. When he has some free time, he can often be found heading to the golf course to unwind.
Melanie Tucker Cert CII
Senior Private Clients Account Handler
Mel has been with Sabre Insurance Services since 2010 and brings a wealth of experience in handling all classes of private client business. She specialises in high-value properties and complex risks, including thatched properties and flood-prone areas. Mel’s deep knowledge of the local area allows her to offer valuable insights and personalised service, ensuring that each client’s unique needs are met.
Her expertise and attention to detail make her an invaluable member of the team, and she consistently goes above and beyond to assist clients in reviewing and managing their risks.
Louise Jones
Account Handler
Louise joined Sabre in 2011 and is a dedicated member of our Personal Lines team, primarily assisting private clients with their renewals. With a strong understanding of the local area, Louise effectively uses her knowledge to support clients with their enquiries, ensuring they receive the best advice and service possible.
Sacha Kent
Private Clients Account Handler
Sacha is the newest member of the Sabre team, having joined in the summer of 2024 as part of the Personal Lines team, where she primarily focuses on Home, Motor, and Marine policies. With a background in insurance claims, Sacha brings a wealth of experience and a keen eye for detail to her role.
Outside of work, Sacha is kept busy managing the day-to-day activities of raising her children, caring for her horses, and looking after various pets.
Jemma Came
Marketing Manager
Jemma brings more than a decade of experience in journalism, marketing, and communications, playing a key role in keeping Sabre’s brand aligned, engaging, and impactful. Her dedication to clear, effective communication and her commitment to exceeding client expectations set the tone for the entire team.
Beyond the office, Jemma enjoys knitting and practicing Pilates.
